What lies ahead waiting to be discovered

sunny 25 °C

I have been invited by the Tourism Board of Madagascar, Air Madagascar and Diego Tourism to visit the very beautiful Nosy Be and Northern Madagascar in loo of promoting business tourism in Madagascar. It commences with a warm welcome by the tourism board, a visit to Mont Passot, a cocktail party sponsored by Air Madagascar, a sea excursion taking us to Nosy Komba, Tanikely and Sakatia, a visit to the cocoa and vanilla plantations, lunch in Ambilobe and a night at Iharana Bush Camp.I will then proceed with a visit of Ankarana Reserve, transfer to Diego where i will be staying in Antsiranana. In the morning i will be visiting Montagne d’Ambre, Baie des Sakalava or Babaomby, stay in Antsiranana, and then conclude my tours with lunch in Ambanja and finally fly back to South Africa via Antananarivo...
I am so excited to witness the natural beauty of Madagascar and hopefully i will get a glance of some of the 600 new found specifies they have discovered over the last decade! That list of new species is comprised of 42 invertebrates, 61 reptiles, 69 amphibians, 17 fish, 385 plants, and 41 mammals. ( As quoted on Planet Save) Watch this space for updates and a possible glimpse of some captured moments with our new little furry friends...
